Superfood Dark Chocolate Bites

These chocolate superfood bites are simple to make but just make you feel so fancy as they are made with dried cranberries, pistachio pieces, and pumpkin seeds.

Dark chocolate bites are my SAVIOR when the cravings hit. Bonus, dark chocolate is a SUPERFOOD – so you know, pat yourself on the back for being healthy while you savor these bad boys.

Tip: The higher the percentage of cacao in chocolate the better. Look for chocolate that is at least 70% cacao.



  • 8 oz. dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
  • 12 Tbsp. raw pistachio pieces
  • 12 Tbsp. pumpkin seeds (pepitas)
  • 12 Tbsp. unsweetened dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp. coarse sea salt (or Himalayan salt) (optional)


  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Place chocolate in a microwave-safe glass measuring cup. Microwave for 60 seconds on 50%; stir. Microwave for another 30 seconds on 50%; stir until chocolate is completely melted. If needed, microwave for an additional 30 seconds on 50%. Do not overcook. Chocolate will melt as you stir it.
  3. Use a spoon to make twenty four small rounds of chocolate onto the parchment paper.
  4. Working while chocolate is still warm, sprinkle chocolate rounds evenly with nuts, pumpkin seeds, cranberries, and salt (if desired).
  5. Let the chocolate set at room temperature, or put the bites in the refrigerator to speed things up.

SERVINGS: 24 {1 bite each}

Quick prep tip: Use a silicone candy mold in fun shapes or circles. Simply drizzle in enough chocolate to cover the bottom of the mold and then add in the toppings.


: Swap out pistachios for raw varieties of almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pecans, or walnuts.
: Swap out pumpkin seeds for chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds, or sunflower seeds.
: Swap out cranberries for these UNSWEETENED dried fruits apricots, blueberries, mangos, raisins, or tart red cherries.

Coach Molly is known to whip up these treats using tart cherries and making up goody bags. Maybe you’ll be luck enough to run in to her out and about!
